Every item we create is individually made by skilled Maasai women artisans, making each piece truly unique. Our handmade process ensures exceptional quality, with intricate designs, carefully chosen colours and the distinctive character that comes from traditional craftsmanship.
We use high-quality glass beads and continue to preserve traditional techniques by creating our own needles and producing our own beading thread from reused plastic food bags. This innovative approach transforms discarded materials into something beautiful, combining cultural heritage with creativity and sustainable practice.
Designer Collaborations
Collaborations are an exciting way for us to connect with international designers, explore new creative ideas and introduce Maasai craftsmanship to new audiences around the world.
Our latest collections bring together the artistry of Maasai women artisans with the vision of two European designers. The Écru Collection, designed in the UK by Heidi Francis, features an elegant range of pared-back designs in a refined palette of black, white, brown and tan. The Gulla Collection, designed in Norway by Anne Gro Gulla, celebrates joyful colour, bold patterns and vibrant contemporary style.
